CV

I am Lars and I am from Bonn, a city next to the river Rhine in Germany. The last years I spent my time growing a wide range of interests and skills ranging from writing songs to modern literature and taxonomy. Currently I am working on expanding my knowledge on artificial intelligence and its influence on philosophy and art.

Psst...yes that picture is AI generated. Did you notice that the word "art" is a part of AI? As an artist, I have a perspective on AI that people who only look at it from a one-dimensional point of view like business will miss out on.

My vision for this website

As an artist and person with many interests I find myself struggling for years with showing my whole portfolio to an audience. What I was lacking was not ability, it was a platform. In a society that constantly idealizes one-dimensional careers it is important for me to have a clear picture of my achievements and works across the board, without losing myself into irrelevant details.

My areas of expertise

Philosophy

Having an opinion is easy. But making a coherent argument out of it is not! That why Philosophy matters to me.

Music

Sounds like you are interested. Pun intended.

Writing

Go check out my writing page! I guarantee: It is always work in progress.

Environmental education

I enjoy doing volunteer work and giving courses. Have I ever told you about my bird obsession?

Together with volunteers we hosted a coordinated recording of migratory birds in Bonn, focusing on birds that use the Rhine-Valley as orientation mark in the landscape.

Thank you very much for today’s field trip to Kottenforst and through the Annaberger Feld. In a small group, with good weather and high spirits, I thoroughly enjoyed walking through the countryside together, observing and listening to birds, discussing what we saw, and even having conversations on unrelated topics. I’m already looking forward to our next field trips together.
