About Me.
Hi, I am Lars, a freelance working biodiversity educator from Bonn, Germany. I developed an early interests in Nature and since then, became obsessed with the idea of teaching other people about it. I am currently studying to earn a BA degree in Philosophy and Psychology from the University of Bonn and aim for a Msc. Degree in Biodiversity, Sutainability or Conservation afterwards. Below, you find some information about my personal projects and working experience.
Working experience and projects

Bonn Ornithological Society
Organized and led field trips to regional spots of biodiversity. They eventually became quite popular among Birders in Bonn.

Leibniz-Insitute for the Analysis of Biodiversity Chance
I work as a freelance educator at the LIB and conducted a bird song courses for young people and currently working on different educational programs for kids and teenagers.

Freelance
I converted my passion for birds into field-trips, online courses and Urban Birding events. My first course has ended in July and got excellent feedback by the participants.

Birdingtours GmbH
The cooperation with my partner birdingtoursGmbH started in June 2026. As a freelance Tour Guide I am resposible for the Urban Briding tours in Cologne. Until 2027, we plan to offer more regional programs for Birdwatching in the region.

Biological Station Bonn Rhein-Erft
As a conductor of the Bird Song Course for advanced learners I had the opportunity to teach participants bird songs of over 50 common or more uncommon species. Due to the positive feedback, more courses are already planned for 2027.
